Course Description:
This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts and approaches in the field of political science. Topics include the nature of politics, different approaches to studying politics, the relationship between political science and other social sciences, and the role of the state and civil society. Through simple explanations and examples, students explore the art of government, the historical development of political science, and its connections with philosophy, economics, sociology, and anthropology.
